Prior to establishing HOLMES LEGAL, Sarah worked for well respected firms in business litigation, labor and employment compliance, and intellectual property rights. Throughout her career, Sarah has built a reputation for providing thoughtful, strategic counsel across a wide range of industries. Whether advising authors on protecting their intellectual property, helping an employer navigate evolving workplace laws, or structuring contracts for growing businesses, she brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to every matter.
Sarah received her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus while living in Okinawa, Japan with her husband while he served in the United States Marine Corps. She graduated from Willamette University's College of Law in 2018 and is a member of the Oregon State Bar.
Outside of the office - Sarah serves as the Board Chair for the Gilbert House Children’s Museum in Salem and volunteers as a coach for the West Salem High School Competitive Mock Trial Team. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and cat. Sarah is an avid reader and can usually be found with a book in hand or listening to an audio book.
